Generosity of The Des Plaines Community Foundation 

The Des Plaines Community Foundation recently presented the Self Help Closet & Pantry of Des Plaines with a check for $10,000. Moylan, with Self Help Closet and Pantry Board Members Randy Jaeger; Rev. Dr. William G. Grice III, Alicia Sorber Gallegos, and Roger Hull.

The Des Plaines Community Foundation is a Des Plaines based not-for-profit agency that provides support for youth, senior citizens and people with special needs and helps promote a healthy and safe community environment. In addition to helping assure clothing and food needs are met, the Des Plaines Community Foundation assists with transportation needs, housework, snow shoveling, and yard work for the elderly and disabled.
