The best place I believe would be "Prairie Lakes". This way there would be more parking and people know where it is. The "West Park Field House" would be my second choice if we can have a meeting there. I do not think that city hall would be a good idea because it is NOT in the 3rd Ward and there is NO good parking accomedations.

I like Prairie Lakes for the parking and meeting rooms. West Park has baseball and they never have anywhere to park and they always have baseball or dance classes there. City Hall is ok it's always nice to go downtown but the winters might be rough if it snows alot.

I think Prairie Lakes would be a great idea!

The Des Plaines Public Library has meeting rooms available to the public. We'd love to have you meet here. You can book the rooms for monthly meetings a year in advance. Although it's not in the 3rd Ward, we do have many 3rd Ward residents who come to the library regularly.

City Hall - All the Park District sites have classes and other issues like are they going to give up a room or rooms every month with out being paid, probably not. City hall is an easy location; night time parking is easier and the Alderman are always asking for people to visit the downtown, well here is the chance.

The Library would be a good place too. The rooms are comfortable in size and they are FREE. Like others have said it will get us in the downtown area....

My preference is Prairie Lakes because of ease of parking, closeness to the ward for those that walk, and heat in the winter months. In winter we've encountered locked doors at West Park and it took to the end of the meeting for the heat to have any effect. You have to make it convenient for the residents to participate.

I feel since Prairie Lakes is in the middle of the ward, it would be the best place to have the meeting. Parking is convienent also. City Hall has no easy parking.

I think Prarie Lakes is perfect due to the parking.
