MLK Day 1/18/10: Help Haiti
"An individual has not started living until he can rise above the narrow confines of his individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity." -Martin Luther King, Jr.

On January 12, a series of earthquakes measuring 6.5 to 7.3 on the Richter scale devastated Haiti. On January 18, celebrate the life of Dr. King by donating to the American Red Cross Haiti Relief and Development Fund. Visit their website or text "HAITI" to 90999 (read more about texting a donation here). The American Red Cross is working with its partners in the global Red Cross and Red Crescent network, including the Haitian Red Cross, and other partners to assist those affected by this disaster.
