Topic: The Proposed Form Based Zoning Ordinance

What will your neighborhood look like in the next 10, 20, or 30 years?  The Des Plaines Zoning Board has been working to revise the City's zoning ordinance with the goal of preserving neighborhood's values while preparing for future growth.  This month's 3rd Ward Meeting will feature our second Des Plaines 101 presentation.  Learn about the proposed Form Based Zoning ordinance and give me your thoughts before we begin the debate in Council Chambers.  Please consider bringing a neighbor; the best public policy is not made in private.
